They were wrong prior man. The 2 suspensions were insane in my opinion. The Debrusk one was maybe a 1 Game (Playoff game) when you consider the other non dispersions and or worse that received less than Kadri got.

The Faulk one was a blindside and headshot absolutely - 8 games is insane even if it was a repeat. Look at all the other rats on the league that get a game here or game there.

He was a critical part of that stacked team, he earned his cup no less then anyone else on it.

If the Leafs don't trade him perhaps he never gets the wake up call he clearly needed. Naz isn't stupid, he knows the moments that brought him to where he is and I'm sure he's matured enough to be grateful for them.

I think that is a more accurate interpretation of the comment.

Still does not change the fact that Kadri could have been the difference maker in getting the Leafs past Tampa in the first round.

Trading Kadri was a mistake. Teams need physicality in the playoffs.

But every team makes deals and signs contracts that they will come to regret.

Fools will take this morning to say they are glad the Leafs traded Kadri or trading Kadri was the right thing to do. Right answer for today should be nothing more than "congratulations to Nazim Kadri on winning the Stanley Cup."
