When are people going to realize that Adams is not going to pay anyone 8-9 mill a year no matter how good Fiala was or is. The payroll will be around 62-65 mill. - SABRES 89

to at least one
Maybe someone thinks neither, but the trade cost was too high.
I want to make our top 4 picks, but I'd take that deal + that extension, if I could. - Lunaion
The only question for me is what would be the comparable Sabres prospect be to Faber.
I've seen some say it would've been Peterka. |

But why wouldn’t they just let their young guys progress and bring in a guy to play who is going to block them from playing first line minutes and not just hand those minutes to those young guys? - ImThatGuy
Don't know. Don't care about the Kings, who are loaded with young prospects. We aren't quite at that point.
Our GM said yesterday he was involved with all the trade talk going around the league.
Perhaps they asked for Quinn and a 1st. Perhaps Fiala told them he wouldn't sign here. There are lots of scenarios.

If they asked for Peterka, it would be an easy no. |

I think they could have beat the offer, but it died on the extension.

Not if Minnesota really liked Faber, which we'll never know. |

I was wondering if you had thoughts on Marco Kasper. Could be a little bit of a reach at 9, but maybe not? 16 would be a dream for him. - PrinceChill
I wouldn’t be surprised if he went top 10.
I would definitely like him at 16.
Seems like a Swiss Army knife middle of the 6 forward all cup teams have |

“If she wasn't doing well, I probably wouldn't have come. I flew out Wednesday last week, and within that time she was in a really good condition, where I felt like everything was fine,” Jessica Pegula said on her mom, Kim Pegula, from Wimbledon via AP. |

I think the players we need to think about are the ones that have value analytically but also take the discount double check
Pisser
Hinostroza
Anderson

I mean look no further than Colorado.
Nichuskin when nobody wanted him, stole Toews for two second rounders, Burakovsky for a 2nd rounder, traded their Risto in Barrie along with Kerfoot for Kadri, then the moves for Lehkonen and Cogliano at this years deadline.
Only big money contracts they had were their home grown guys (Landeskog, Rantenen, Mackinnon, Makar)
One bad contract in Erik Johnson but he was great for them in the playoffs at least |

You know the very big problem with the above, right? |
