I think they only way I make that call is if Nemec slips a couple picks. If you want a winger, 9 is a great spot.

I've seen Jiricek drop to 9 in a number of mocks. Nemec is almost always gone top 4.

I could understand moving up to grab them (more so Nemec), but there's no scenario where I'm unhappy at 9. Also that move costs them 28 or 41+. I wouldn't do it.

You can't even eat a tomato dry, even when it's sun-dried. Those things are 99% water.

Really wasn't talking just Sabres trades, talking every team. Just think it's a weird year with this draft. Hell Chicago could do 3 themselves with Cat, Kane and Maybe a late 1st for Murphy.

He doesn't make sense for the teams we'd be dealing with, even if the value might be appropriate. Ottawa would counter with 28 or Peterka, imo.

To answer your question though...it depends on your board and your confidence level in your evaluations right? If you had Savoie, Nazar and Kasper roughly the same...yes, be crazy not to . If you had 1 rated "significantly" higher, then no.

These public evaluations are all over the board due to uneven development opportunity resulting from covid... I suspect there may be some uncertainty compared to other years with the conviction of their evaluations.
