To add to the potential pick of Lekks post, Forton sounded extremely confident that they'd have a player they love in their position. Do they move up to 6 or 7? He mentioned how he thinks the guys in the first 7 are the top tier for them.

so that's interesting.

we know (frank)all.

if kevo doesn't churn this roster within the next 3 years, it's absolute failure.

- TheSabresTaco

it's sad that despite bottoming out when adams took over and ralph got canned that the only college ufa or euro ufa we brought into the fold was a penn state grad

I’m not gonna assume he gets traded until it actually happens

Adams is putting all his eggs in one basket to go for it next offseason.

That’s how I see it.

If Nemec fell, I'd make the call. I'd guess the cost to move up is more than they'd be willing to pay.

I personally think he is. Especially if Quinn can do what Olofsson can. He would help balance any bottom 9 line.

The war?

I hope they don't care about a conflict that has nothing to do with hockey.

Miroshnichenko is Russian and if they're both there at 16 Miro better be the pick.

They don't

we have trouble scoring and 2 first overall guys on D

I would lean toward keeping olofsson and the assets needed to get mikjeyev

I’m not opposed to moving Olofsson in the right deal

But i also think Olofsson fits in just fine at RW1

And that gives us the ability to move Tuch down,
and help strengthen a 2nd scoring line
And we do need that 2nd scoring line imo

Fair point

If it were next offseason, then he could slot into either Okposo or Girgs’ spot on our defensive line
But for now, i don’t think he’s needed

16. Buffalo Sabres: Danila Yurov, RW, Magnitogorsk (RUSSIA)

It feels like a lot of people in and outside the league are predicting Yurov with the Sabres pick. I do think it’s a strong possibility but if they went in a different direction, I could see Ostlund here too.
