Which part?

If the Bishop contract implications, I'm basing it on the understanding I gained last week; the acquiring team would need to fit a contract in whole on their roster, then if they go over, they can LTIR that contract and get relief upto the contract value. There maybe some timing issues that I did not adequately consider for sure...I do find it confusing, so I could be dead wrong.

That is the $7.5m question.
At his 26 birthday, he had played 37 NHL games producing 11 pts.
Now, 1 year later on an absolutely stacked team and 2 very good linemates playing 14:00 ATOI, he produced at .85ppg.

My thoughts are the Sabres can afford him, and he plays a style they need...I just wouldn't expect that level of production. On the other hand, he showed he can produce with higher-end talent. If you can live with $2.5m and getting say 25 -35 pts then great..if he goes over it's gravy.

If he's looking for 6 a year it's a no. Pretty much going top have the same team as last year but if a player like Copp comes along and the price fits, you never know.
