Yes but with his rough year and little attitude problems and his family getting in the way.
he just got forgotten and red flaged
And others just passed him.
But if a team unlocks his full potential you could have a franchise player

It was always wright , Savoie, lambert for 1 called it the 3 headed monster draft.

At 16 not a bad gamble. If he turns up a 3rd line 40pt player that’s not horrible. He becomes a 55pt 2nd line player, that’s a nice win at 16

Depends on the cost and how much you have to pay to move up. If it only costs you #41 and maybe a Johnson/Portillo to move from 9 to like 6, I'd say yes in a second. if it's costing you 28 and a prospect I'm not sure. I do know we need a top RHD in the portal |

It's crazy to think that Savoie at 9 and Lambert at 16 is an actual possibility, after the way this draft was advertised a year ago.

Would you be happy with those picks , in those spots?
Savoie 9
Lambert 16
Next year a couple local kids are going to be drafted most likely. |

Would be thrilled with those picks. Savoie would be a steal and Lambert is a risk worth taking. |

He's not terrible in a 3rd pair role, but then that describes half of FA, at less money. |

What are you basing that on if you don't mind me asking?
Nothing in his statistical profile is particularly flattering, and what little I've seen of him, just looks like a mediocre 3rd pair guy. |

Blocks a lot of shots, his PDO isn't awful, heavy starts from Dzone side of Center ice. Can play 20min if need be. Not afraid to throw a hit. |

Are....are any of these positive qualities though?
Blocks a lot of shots is just another way of saying the Sens don't have the puck often when he's on the ice. Not an ideal quality. Part of what makes the avs so successful is that almost all their d-man excel in getting the puck back quickly and are less concerned with traditional box out shot blocking.
He gets a lot of d-zone starts but its like risto, he's not doing anything of value with that. So what does it matter if he plays 20 mins if most of that is spent with other team holding the puck and the shot advantage?
All this to say, is this the kind of player we need to take on at that cap hit and potentially pay assets for? Again he's probably ok in a 3rd pair role but like they've got 2 geniuses working for them now, surely they can do better than this for that money. |

So McDonagh or Sergachev blocking a 100 or so shots means Tampa is bad at getting the puck out. Only reason I brought him up is cause someone offered him for a 6th, which wouldn't be bad |
