I'd be curious to know what kind of offers he's been getting, and if it has anything to do with moving up the draft, which has been brought up a whole lot without any specific trade rumors concerning this. - Pat1993
Challenge with Anderson is only his contract…
He is a second Line winger who can play when he is in a good stretch…
He is also very inconsistent and did not show much last year in the finals…
I like the guy, I like the speed and I love the size but it does not translate into what it should…
This is why he may leave if the GM gets what he wants…
Given the fact that he is signed, that they like big guys trowing their body around, I think the fit in Winnipeg…
Nobody wants to go to Winnipeg so we may end up with a Dubois vs Anderson + the 26th pick… - TheInformer697041
yeah, apparently Hughes has been receiving serious offers for Anderson, but I'm not so convinced he'll get traded. besides I'm not too worried if he does stay, moving a guy like Petry should be more of a priority, especially if he doesn't want to be in MTL anymore.

Petry will be moved, if not by the draft, it will be this summer after the UFA market opens so teams know where they stand with their own UFA's.
Anderson, unless he gets a fantastic offer he can't refuse, he is not going anywhere.

this makes sense, unless he and his family have completely changed their mind and actually now want to stay, in which case I wouldn't mind that much keeping him, but I doubt the situation has turned around that way.
