I've played it a bit, pretty cool indeed. and I was happy to notice you don't necessarily need to know all the different combos by heart to play the game lol
“It’s a peculiar draft year,” said one NHL team head scout. “Neither one of them [Slafkovsky or Wright] are locks to be first-line players in the NHL. I’m not saying one or the other couldn’t become first liners, they’re both good prospects, but unlike a lot of years, this draft doesn’t have any great prospects. There are no slam dunks. There are things I like about both guys, but I have some reservations, too.”

Bobby Margarita also said he spoke with 9 scouts, 5 voted for Slaf, 4 for Wright to go 1st, he also said he believes if he asked 9 more, it would most likely be different results.

I'm going with the guy who has been projected 1st overall since he was 15, not the one who jumped in the conversation 2 months ago on some magic run at a world championship filled with mostly average players.
Also, the first guy is a center, which has been some sort of out of reach mythical beast for this franchise since the mid 90's
it becomes a question of position IMO, Habs lack depth at center and Wright is seen as a 2nd line center which is what they need, a top 6 center.
Always easier to find wingers then quality centers when you need them - Symba007
yup, I agree. and it might be harder to evaluate talent after these 2 years of covid, which may explain in part why a lot of people are convinced the draft isn't as good as other years.
