I like this signing. I'd have to imagine there were not a lot of coaches that wanted to coach an aging and underperforming team. Even though the Hawks are several years behind of when they should of started to rebuild, I would like to think we have the coaching and management in place to finally get that process started. |

Oh there are times I stop and try to figure out if he’s being sarcastic. That’s what makes him sarcasm so good, sometimes he’s not being sarcastic even when it appears he is. |

Cooley and Savoie look like can't miss after reading Wiz's report.
I am satisfied with a #1 '22, prospect, #1 '23. Especially if we can get Holtz. |

Only brought it up because Yzerman hired someone he was already familiar with.

Would this be an acceptable trade before the '22 Entry Draft.

Holtz - jhawk59
I was thinking NJ would want to ask for more to include 2 1sts and Holtz. Murphy could be added to the package, but maybe that swings the pendulum too far in the Devils direction. Maybe the Hawks can get a 2nd or 3rd rounder thrown in from them.

Don't be surprised if Yzerman helps Tampa Bay with their cap problems. Maybe Detroit takes McDonagh (if he waives to go there) plus a high pick or prospect in return for a lower pick. It helps to have friends in the right places. |

Not sure if this was tongue in cheek...since bringing back ex-Hawks has worked out so well in the past.... |

Boqvist could be the veteran needed in Rockford....... |

We already have 2 of their 1st rounders and a 2nd, so it'll be interesting, that contract looks terrible
Yzerman isn't going to do them any favors
Didn't realize they still have this year's 1st round pick. Glad KD asked for the 23 and 24 |

I wouldn't trade for Murphy. Injury prone. Too many bone head decisions. But maybe in structured system he would succeed, just not with Colliton.
Adding Murphy as a veteran "D" they reportedly desire, is more a wish than a reality IMHO |

You had me at Murphy, hahaha
But seriously not enough for Cat alone.
I believe Cat since he entered the league is in the top 10 of goals scored. I think i heard somewhere he's actually 5th but that seems high to me. |
