Y do we need to take up money with Vatrano? Dubois is the exact kind of player you would love and he fits our needs. I believe Cuylle or Othmann will be on the team to start the season, why add another winger to a multi year deal when we have those 2 in the pipeline and are already stacked on the wings? You win in the playoffs with depth down the middle.

You're correct. Krieder will become a PP specialist, and on the 1st PK unit. 3rd line winger is right, don't know how long it take for that to happen.

If Chytil needs to be included in a deal for PLD, do it. As a matter of fact, move Kakko as well, bring a western hockey league power forward type.

The top 6 is to soft, not that they don't play hard tthey do, and it's probably enough to do well in the regular season, but it won't cut it, if a cup is the goal. Thier window is not as open as some think.

From what I’ve gathered, it’s looking like the Rangers will try to sign Motte. The numbers would have to work out for Strome or Copp to stay, and that’s growing less and less likely by the day.

Much easier to fill that spot, but if the dollars come in close to Chytil then you’re probably better off keeping him and making the deal work another way. After being dealt from a winning team to a declining and rebuilding team (and going from sunny Tampa to dreary NYC)...I would hate it, as well. He's been moved around some the past few years. Perhaps his train of thought would be different this time around.

obviously he'll start in Hartford and who knows what to expect, it's impossible to predict what he is by looking at European numbers, but he's coming

From what I recall Henriksson is a bit undersized for a center. I don't know his game, though, if he's a scorer or more defensive-minded.
