I don't see how a guy who was traded for max domi 2 years ago, on an awful contract and hasn't come close to matching his career highs is worth a top 10 pick + a/b prospect when a guy who just had 85 points is worth the 19th and c level prospect.

Yes it is relevant in this scenario. How has his value improved in 2 years when the cost was Domi? It hasn't.

And Forsberg's value has exploded since that trade.
