Highly unlikely
Its either a 2nd and maybe a meh prospect or Kerfoot in some trade where they get back a youngish bottom 6 forward I think. - Santo_44
Chicago GM did stand up and apologised infront of all the GM's, so maybe can get away with a tiny bit, but yeah, probably not much. |

Then 5.6m will be traded off the books and they have money to add.
Not that confident Sandin can be a top 4 d next season, more confident in Liljregren. - Santo_44
I think they still see more potential upside in Sandin than Lilli and the only problem for him is a crowded left side and questions about him playing on the right. My guess is that the plan is to give him a real shot at the right side unless he is used for a more important trade than the one you are proposing - bringing in a top flight forward or a goalie. |

Pulujujuarvi is good.
Probably is the next Nichushkin as much as Sandin could be a top 4 PP QB. - Santo_44
I agree. I like him. But I wouldn't give up Sandin for him.
Isn't Edmonton on the fence to even qualify him? Shouldn't cost a Sandin. |

I understand the mechanics but I don’t understand why he wouldn’t want to hit free agency. This might be his only crack at a decent payday and limiting himself to negotiating with one team seems very, well, limiting. - Canada Cup
I'd agree with this except those greasy lawyers/agents are involved. If they're doing their job then JC's team already knows who's interested. If he has a favourite then the 'trade my rights' thing makes some sense. If his favourite is $$ then he waits it out to let the bidding begin. |

Sandin was pretty bad on the right side when he was played there last year.
Quite possible he is again and then all of a sudden he loses his value because of a bad season.
I am all for trading him. If they get an equally good forward or a package for something good. |

I can see that.
I don't overly want to trade Sandin, but I would for a good improvement.
Be amazing if Muzzin agreed to waive. |

Anybody saying that is either dumb or lying so his value goes down.
Decent point totals and the underlying numbers show he was fantastic at both ends of the ice. Big forward...would be plenty of interest. |

Ya, I like the D sitch more than most. Sandin can play both sides and has a summer/camp to get better on the right if needed.
Leafs can add more D at the deadline - find their Josh Manson rental.

Muzz-Bro
Gio-San
dump Holl and add another RHD vet into the mix to share time. Maybe Boosh. Not sure if Myers earned a look.
that gets the kids minutes with good partners at a low-leverage time (regular season) and keeps the flexibility to spend Cap space upfront and on a tender. If by December the kids are showing warts then you're scanning the market and you spend on a rental. |

Play Muzzin part time or trade him, I don't think he can handle a full 82 game season anymore. |

You clearly don’t have a clue. He started hot along with the rest of the team and dropped off a cliff as the year went on. Was barely on the roster at the end of the season. McD and Drai don’t want to play with him. He’s bad. You can have him.
There have been multiple reports over the last couple days that the oilers and Pulj are breaking up as it were. |

Its not his choice if his rights are traded so that team can flip the rights if he doesn't want to stay and possible, its possible the 8th year could take effect to lower AAV. |

If a team wants to give Campbell an 8 yr deal, that's terrible.. I feel bad enough for Arizona |

This article doesn't back your opinion up whatsoever.
The only similarities that you share is that you both think Pulujujarvi is not an Oiler next season. No where does it say he won't be qualified, in fact is says he would want a forward who can score 25-30 goals in return. |

They don’t want him back as I said. No one likes playing with him. And the advanced stats are hilarious to anyone that has watched him. This blogger can say they want a 25-30 goal scorer for him all they want. They aren’t getting that in a million years. |

Today was supposed to be the start of an 11-day roadtrip.
Last night, a nail decided to marry one of our tires. Our two-month old tires.
Can’t be repaired.
Good news: it’s covered by warranty.
Bad news: it’s a weird size, nobody has one, so it’s 7-10 business days.

If you trade for a guy now, you can’t offer him an 8-year deal.
It would be interesting to see the signing success rate for teams that trade for a player’s rights, prior to July 1. |
