Lou could have sweetin the deal to make it happen. 1st 2nd and 3rd. Heck if you plan on being good next year you could have made it to two 1st rounders bc next years would be almost a 2nd.

If the Blackhawks are “rebuilding” why would you trade a 2-time 40-goal score who’s 24 and keep the 2 dudes in their 30s?? That trade makes no sense.

I’m not saying “Lou bad” or anything but when a team has needs you have to make sh!t happen. Who knows maybe they weren’t targeting him or the ask was too much. Let’s see what he does but if after free agency we’re saying, “he can make moves before the start of the season” I’m going to be one pissed off puppy
