I heard a rumor...that there may be a rumor chart soon?

Well Burns has all the control here. He submits a 3 team trade list every year on July 1. So he has three possible destinations. I don’t see it being likely. He’s said he wants a chance to win the cup so that again limits possible destinations.

Why the HELL would the Flyers have interest in Burns and that contract, at his age (though he is still good)? They already have Ellis signed through the 2026-27 season, and God only knows when Ellis will see the ice again.

I don't doubt that Burns is on the table.

I don't think he would take a deal to Philadelphia. Even if he did, what would the cost be? Would it make the team so weak that the addition of Burns would be a long term issue in talent depth?

Until I see Ryan Ellis on the ice with the team in a game...I will never believe that he is going to play. The complete lack of transparency regarding his condition is a joke...but so is Chuck Fletcher, so.

To me Burns is too much of a defensive liability. I know people don’t like the plus/minus stats but he is a negative in most years.
