It's not his fault per say... But he has taken over an organization that is the laughing stock of the NHL.... Would like to see more aggressive moves like this

Yeah that's completely fair. The Sabres could've bought him out to facilitate this deal? Although It's possible that's why Murray said no. If he gets bought out does he get anything more than a 1 year league min deal? He's got little leverage without the contract.
