Quick still makes the most sense to me - 1 year left on deal, he's from CT (30 minutes from me), though I know CT is 7 hours from Buffalo. quick = instant credibility

This was my top option for a while, because he was sneaky good for a while this year. Then Petersen stumbled and Quick kept playing well and suddenly it was not so sneaky.

He's their starter I would think for 23

My betting advice would be to look for NHL pedigree. Those guys usually have trophy wives with big bulging fake tots.

Drama. There will be drama if they have both of them for a full regular season. They're too good for split roles for a long term. Who knows though? Maybe they're both humble guys and great pro athletes at the same time.

Talbot only has 1 year left and MAF is signed for 2, they're both aging, it might be good for them both

I don’t know how it all works but I am seeing 3 open spots, $1.5 mill in space and not sure if that includes their lower cap ceiling.
