Its great we will have more good prospects who will play in the NHL in 2 to 3 years but the Sabres need new NHL calibre players now. Just hoping Adams trades or picks up UFAs that will help this team win 10 to 15 more games next year. Just dont feel like Adams will be able to do this...or should i say i dont have confidece he will do this

NHLers need to get paid. I've been really trying to hold out hope they werent going to stealth tank again, but it's looking worse and worse. There is zero excuse for not beating Ottawa's pathetic offer for DeBrincat. That's a friggen steal. Nobody we draft this year will ever be as good as DeBrincat has already been. And he hasn't hit his prime yet. But, of course, he costs money.

Define couple of years. If you mean the standard two, then, no, we will not be trying to win a championship. We'll be hearing Savoie is a rookie, and we still dont have a goalie. And, that old saw, you don't build through free agency. And Alex DeBrincat will have two more 40- goal seasons by then and only be 26.
