Yes. That and RhD.
I am not yet convinced on Tage as a 1C...I hope like hell he continues to develop, but I'm not firmly in that camp yet.
Cozens seems like Cirelli type...better suite for 3C IMO
Krebs, Mitts are both up in the air. What are they exactly?
Sabres need for 3 out of 4 of them to hit. I can't count on that.
Savoie should be solid. If so then Mitts and Krebs go to wing or are used as trade bait. - IonSabres

I’m going to pretend they took Kulich at 16 and Ostlund at 28.
Other then that, Lots of skill and speed added to the organization today - Pegullaville

They would need to attach giant compensation to get rid of Jones. It seems that 9 million dollar contracts don't go away easily.... - Slump Buster
No they won’t, he’s a RD. Those are coveted.
They’d have to take a cap dump back probably, but he’ll have value. |

Draft speed and skill. Trade for grit - Stripes77
And a goalie? |
|
|

He won't unless we trade up. But with Chelsey, Luneau, Casey and a few other RHD in range, they should be able to get a good one. Forwards I like at 41 are Hughes, Schaefer, Perevalov (some like him better than Yurov), - turbo044
Any thoughts on Trikozov, Kyrou, or Luneau? |

You think we should have picked him? - The_Inkwell
Yeah for sure. I like Kulich just fine, but Howard had one of the best years at even strength for the NTDP.
From 2012-2019, of the 10 closest players in terms of even strength primary point production, 6 of them are NHLers
Zegras, Keller, Caufield, Wahlstrom, Bellows and Bobby Brink.

I liked Kulich better, we didn't need another 5'9" forward - turbo044
Thats a bad reason to avoid drafting a player in this day and age. Like I get wanting someone who is 6'6 for the right reasons like reach or if they actually use it to be strong on the puck, but these days unless the production is bad 5'10 is worth the gamble. |

Well still plenty of good players left. Some decent RD there. Think it might be time to use some of that draft capital and move up from 41. |

I agree - Savoie is who I wanted, so thrilled. Oslund was probably a reach by about 6 picks but Kulich was picked 10 places after I thought. so overall, we had some premium in our picks

I'm confused....thought we were talking draft wise for positions relative to the capital necessary to expend on trading for Cat. Yes, G short and long term needs, although drafting one until 4th round probably. To use their early picks on a G is insane. Hence why with their 1st puck I am very happy to add Savoie a C.
