I'd argue that the list of free agent forwards this offseason is greater in and more diverse in terms of quality and quantity then next season.

That's why I wouldn't wait until next year to add a quality UFA forward, or even two.

Plus, I'd like to add more veteran support for the young players. Gritty, quality support like Andrew Copp, for example.

Oh, I'm sure we had a great "draft." We just had a terrible day overall. Two of those picks should not have been made because we added a great NHL player.

But you know, someday is the only day we care about in Hockey Heaven.

Savoie seemed really Happy with being drafted by Buffalo. Krebs and Patrick most have been in his ear.

He might try. I think he should go play ea sports on difficulty “easy” and say how easy it is to make playoffs and win cup and keep team together. Lawrence Pilut’s contract with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL has been terminated, per the team.

I’m told the Sabres are “very interested” in bringing Pilut back to Buffalo. And Pilut is willing to sign a two-way contract to get another NHL opportunity.
