So now, not just Ottawa but Detroit too has improved thier NHL team. Playoffs just got that much harder to get into in the East. Your move, KA. You have all the money in the world and the super #1 prospect pool in the NHL. - lacaprup

My opinion. See how he does with a good player maker instead of an elite one. - DirtyDan

A note on Husso: #Sabres arent going past two years on a goalie. No idea what they do from here but it remains a short-term play. That said, Husso in the Atlantic obviously isn’t ideal.
So Adams is terrified a college goalie with one years experience will be mad a job is not handed to him in 2 years?! Unless Levi is gods gift to this green earth, he won't be a full time NHL goalie for 3 years minimum. This is insane negligence if true on Adams. Sign a guy to a 3 year (frank)ing contract and be smart! I truly want to see what our kids can do this year and we can't do that with joke goaltending |

Isn’t it always the GMs that make the moves? Or sometimes like the fans? |

It’s a solidify our core year. The gap between the 9th place team and 8th place team in the East is massive. It’s no small task to make us a playoff team.
We need this year to see who we truly consider our core, then build around them with FA or trades.
We need another solid development year from tallness, Mitts, Krebs, Cozens, Quinn, Power, JJ, Joker. We will have some tough decisions to make after that. Some guys will be on the cusp after next year.
We will be a fun team to watch, but not a playoff team. To invest heavily building around these guys this year would be counter productive.
It sucks, but it’s the right move |

Cam Talbot’s camp planning on meeting with Wild GM, Bill Guerin today to further discuss his role in concert with yesterdays 2 year extension of Marc Andre Fleury.
Make the call Kevyn, you cannot get shut out on the goalie market |

Losing isn't fun... If we lose 7-5 every game it's not fun. Get a real goalie and let the kids learn how to win |

So the talk of Debrincat being the Blackhawks best player last year, is all because of Patrick Kane?
Why isn't Dylan Strome talked in the same breath? |

This reads less about Levi and more about UPL to me. If you are giving a guy 3+ years, you assume he’s your starter. Time to poop or get off the pot season for UPL, and I just took my morning deuce. IMO of course |

He is not wrong.
Could sign a guy to 5 years and assume that in year 4 the number of games played had better be turning in favor of the new guy. 2 year transition period between the two seems reasonable.

Per Harrington, Adams wont go past two years because he doens't want to block a freshman in college.
