This reads less about Levi and more about UPL to me. If you are giving a guy 3+ years, you assume he’s your starter. Time to poop or get off the pot season for UPL, and I just took my morning deuce. IMO of course - SDSabre
Then Adams shouldn't have signed 42 year old Craig Anderson! Both him and UPL are back ups at best this year. Why sign a back up level player and then worry about another back up level player? So (frank)ing annoying
He is not wrong.
Could sign a guy to 5 years and assume that in year 4 the number of games played had better be turning in favor of the new guy. 2 year transition period between the two seems reasonable. - IonSabres
That's ridiculous... People are traded yearly.. Sign a guy to 3 years and if Levi is the next Hasek in 2 years you can do whatever the hell you want with the other guy
Well like last year, the goalie market is flashing before are eyes. By tonight when everyone of note has been scooped up my rotation from 2 pages ago will come true!!

UPL put up starter numbers when he played. Staying healthy is the only thing holding him back. And yeah I think they may have thought something along the lines of 45 UPL 25 Murray Anderson the rest. It's not all black and white. Guys bust out at different times, and if UPL can stay healthy (big if, I understand this) I don't see why he can't become a starter this year for the majority of games

Simmer down...did you and Imthatguy ride in on the same horse?
So DK's rights can be had for a 6th or 7th, do you take a swing?? - Buff36
According to Harrington Adams wants a goalie on a 1-2 year deal Kemper isn't doing that. He's going to a quality franchise like Edmonton or Washington on a multi year deal
