Salomonsson gone. Goyette still there surprisingly. Though we're pretty good at C atm. - PrinceChill
Hutson or Gleb could still be interesting. D or W respectively.
poop, Ty Nelson is still available. All 3 guys were borderline 1st rounders still available.
And my dreams are dead. (frank) it, go get Brennan. I want to see this board explode. |

Which is why you don’t take one at the top of round 2. Especially a questionable one at that. - ImThatGuy

We needed a goalie and don’t pick again for 30+ guys. I’m fine with it |

From everything I read they drafted based on size for this guy and athleticism. not really a production-based analytics approach.
Seems odd |

A goalie in the 2nd round who was not expected to go till the 3rd? Goalies are like pitchers in the MLB draft. No one knows what you're getting... 2nd round should be safer pick IMO |

He was a projected late 2nd rd pick. We don’t have one of those. He made the pick early. In 5 years if he turns out are we mad he didn’t aquire an extra 2024 4th rd pick by trading down? |

I (frank)ing hate it.
The player drafted immediately after the Sabres pick is a talented, big RHD that could really help them. |

Colin Hunter - Dobber Prospects - June 18th: "He has the size and most of the technical ability to succeed professionally. Spending most of his year in Finland’s U20 league, he posted a .916 save percentage, good for third among U18 goaltenders. Leinonen plays a very strong positional game, adjusting to the play seamlessly."

He wouldn’t have made it to 74. Then everyone would biatch that we didn’t draft a goalie. There is a reason we are not NHL GM’s or scouts. |
