I'm over insignificant wins that still lead to the 9th pick, guys who want to be here crap and using the term veteran presence for guys like Eakin and Anderson when in reality you're just thankful someone will play for you.. Last year Adams striked out on a bunch of goalies including homegrown Ullmark because everyone knows this organization has been a joke for ten years... Adams can still turn it around, but moral victories and "patience" is not the answer. Not saying you have to be irrational, just saying you can still build around your young talent and also get some more current talent in here.

Or the Sabres want to keep him and he doesn't like Bales or something. the Sabres not being great is an obvious answer but there may be different reasons.

I don't think they are worried about Levi at all. Wasn't it reported that Portillo is coming? I think that would be the bigger get at this point.

Maybe the dream for Murray isn’t dead and they pull 7 from Ottawa. I would think 7 and 9 could get 2.

Maybe they can agree to buy him out once he waives, or they find a third team he will waive for to facilitate the deal.

Look we don't talk about fight club. Bruce Smith used to fall asleep alot at red lights late at night. Thankfully troopers always woke him and got him home. Stuff just happens to superstars sometimes.
