I dont want any part of Miller. I know he had a career year but it was only one year. Id rather trade these young assets for a young center. There has to be a trade for a young center out there some where.

Zib - Chytil - signing Colin white - Goodrow - Rydahl is serviceable this year. For example. A 3C is the way to go

That gives Chytil one more to prove if he’s a center or not. Thats what I worry about, Chytil blows up and we have JT miller to pay and him and Laf and Kandre Miller. I’ve been beating the drum for a center for awhile but we don’t need the big fish this year yet imo. We need to hold off one more season

Have heard some teams internally debating the merits of offer sheeting Jake Oettinger, who is coming off his entry level deal. Would imagine Stars would match absolutely anything. But I know some teams are debating it. Which doesn’t mean they will actually do it. Tempting maybe?

Ok decent argument but not compelling. The reason I said it was interesting was the fact the Devils have their 1-2 centers for probably the next decade and might take a chance on adding a winger with a high ceiling and a slick puck moving defense man. It does make sense for both teams to explore the possibilities with each team filing a need, but like you said, I doubt either team would take a chance on it.

I have also suggested colin white. He will come cheap and is only 25. 3rd line center. I think the sens overestimated his overall talent.

I also believe there is a good chance the Chicago Blackhawks trade Alex DeBrincat today.

Nobody. Save 1.5M this year, full 2.5 next year (when it matters the most) and only 1m dead cap for two more years...and by then the cap will go up significantly more than the 1M as is this year and next.
