I’m almost 100% positive he’s been critical of Fletch & the Flyers for some time now. Well documented actually. - Oberyn23
Indeed. That is true. |

I guess we reached the extent of it. You can have any opinion you want. So can I.
My opinion is what you posted here is nonsense. Same as criticizing Fletcher for not making an offer to move up. - MJL
I don't check HockeyBuzz comments too often these days, but every time I do you seem to be in the middle of arguing with someone.
Either I have impeccable timing or you're always arguing with someone.

So you would have drafted a defenseman that already totes an injury history? What a dumb phuck! Please continue to be critical of everything the Flyers do cause that means that they must be doing something right. DUNCE!! - Phillywhiteout

cant say i know much at all about the guy but thats the mentality i want to see towards the back end of the round for a team still holding on to some win now aspirations. take the swing. - stayinthefnnet
He was a lock to go top 10 before a lymphoma diagnosis. Sounds very treatable. |

I call it like I see it. Go ahead and give him the benefit of the doubt… yeah I call that defending Fletcher. Which seems very outside of your history. Most of us deserve the benefit, but CF does not. Assume the worst, assume incompetence, and on that, you and I are certainly on the same page. The man and his bosses are not deserving of any benefit given their history. So at least you and I can agree on that. We can also agree that the Flyers, as of now, are no better than they were at the end of the season. I’m sure you’d agree that this aggressive retool, so-called, has not been positive. - mikeyo27
I think Fletcher is the equivalent of a hockey used car salesman. With no real talent for team building and I think he should be fired along with most of the rest of the organization. However I'm not going to be unreasonable and criticize him for not making an effort to move up when I don't know if he did or not. That just doesn't make sense. There's plenty of room for criticism on the moves we know he actually made.

His stock shot up with his Olympics and WC performances.
His Liiga numbers aren't popping out because it's a men's league and teens don't get a ton of icetime. |

True. Like I said I assume the worst of the man, but I agree with this post! There certainly is enough, without conjecture, to grade him with an “F”. 😀 |

I don't know squat about Gauthier or any of the players. Just happy the Flyers made the pick and didn't trade it. - MJL
The draft is such a crapshoot. Look at all the redrafts they do year after year. There are so many experts on draft night that look like idiots a few years later and vice versa.
All I know is the more players you pick, the better the odds you’ll hit on them. It’s not so bad on the cap either! |

He was Slovakia’s best player at the olympics…crazy for a teenager….6’4 230 as an 18 year old. Your bang on about his ice time last year before the olympics. |

It's sincerely hilarious that MJL stirs the pot with a strong premise that is reliant on a conclusion that is in opposition to Meltzer's information. On the same day constructs calling out a poster on the premise that he doesn't know what goes on internally.
It's like they say the narcissist is the hero and the victim of every story. It's funny, however, how they tell on tell on themselves. |

youre a (frank)ing joke - THE BLACK HAND The last thing the Flyers needed was to draft another player with an injury history after the 2017 draft debacle, but you can't see that cause you are a world class dumbass. Thanks yet again! Are you finished yet?

Apparently he reminds Hexy of Sanheim, according to Sportsnet. |
