They’ll try and trade Dvorak but I don’t want him - nyrangers9479
Not at what they paid to get him. Theyll want to (atleast) recover that 1st they paid to get him. |

Totally different mgmt. They could just want to unload his money. Maybe something so silly like for Nemeth and pick could work. How we judge these things isn’t even close sometimes.
Like I said yesterday, when I saw Georgy get 3 picks…I can assume we can get McDavid for Nemeth now
anything is possible!!
Edit: I did wonder when they traded for Dach if they weren’t going to ship him to the peg for Dubois |

Chris Peters:
New York Rangers
Grade: C+
First rounders: None
Day 2 picks: Adam Sykora, C/W; Bryce McConnell-Barker, C; Noah Laba, C; Victor Mancini, D; Maxim Barbashev, LW; Zakary Karpa, C
Analysis: With no picks until 63rd overall, the Rangers still picked up two of my Top 100 players. Adam Sykora is the prize of the class as I think he really showcased his growth over the last season, culminating with his inclusion on the Slovakian national team at the World Championship. He’s going to need more time to grow, but he has speed and tenacity. McConnell-Barker was a player that had some high-pick buzz going into the season, but just hasn’t lived up to that quite yet and maybe needs some help developmentally. Victor Mancini is a real wild card pick, but he’s got size and some skating ability to build off of. Maxim Barbashev was a prospect that left me wanting more so often this year, but you can see the tools. It’s a decent class, but without any high picks, there wasn’t much they could have done to improve their grade significantly |

C+ seems a bit harsh. Seems like they made good picks for what they had. They addressed center which is all you can really ask for

That’s what I’m saying. It’s whatever lol I don’t really care. I thought they did really well for the picks they had. I like all the profiles. When I see I C+ I think these guys suck |

Can’t believe we’re still paying Shattenkirk and Girardi. Last year of it thankfully.
Any other decent options other than D. Strome? That would be bizarre to go from one Strome to another. Almost too bizarre IMO.
I like the idea of signing a vet like Statsny. Guy scored 21 last season and is a beast on draws. Probably get the same 1 year deal he got last season at $3.75M. |

That’s what Chytil got figured he’ll get around there. I went a lil high on purpose for a couple guys.
All in all when I’ve done these I just like the team better with Chytil as the 2C and depth on the bottom 6 instead of the big fish |

Those buyouts are 3+ million bucks. With Nemeth that’s almost 6 million bucks of wasted space
Strome is just as good as his brother pts wise. My whole thing is trading as little as possible. So if he’s not getting qualified we’ll qualify him instead. And get him for not much probably. 3.6 would be his offer |

I think Dylan's points total is inflated by centering Kane ( where have we heard that before? ).
I am REALLY torn over this. Kane is a SUPERSTAR and I think he would be excited to play on Broadway. However, he is 34 and how do we pay him after next year? Plus, he is not a Center, which is what we REALLY need! I have to place faith in Drury on this one. So tempting... |

It’s gaining steam boys. Lol.
It really does make a ton of sense. If it cost Kakko or Chytil I think it may be worth it. He’ll re-sign and won’t kill us financially. Probably do one year deals. It’s much better solution than Miller imo, because you have to long term him. Kane could very well be like let’s just win cups and give me 3 like mill a year. That’s it. I just wanna a play. He’s made $70 million already for gods sake
Remember he has the hammer which should give us some leverage to keep the return kinda low.
I think it’s gonna happen it’s gonna be fun |

on the flip side he's won 3 cups, so does he care about winning another or just cashing out the remainder of his career? logic says any professional would want to win, but he did punch a cabbie over money so who knows |

If that's Motte's problem I'd offer him one extra year at the lower number. He's only 27. |
