So if DeAngelo get's into a fight with a teammate (you can pick the teammate) do the Flyers eat his 2 year contract like the Rangers did after he got into an altercation with their goalie?

My money would actually be Torts (I know not a player) getting under his skin. With no cap space, no draft picks, nothing in the pipeline, my guess is short of the league suspending him, the Flyers wouldn't do anything.

Remember all the talk during the Holmgren years when the Flyers never hit on a player with a draft pick past the 1st round? Helps to use them. We're back but hey, no influence at all from the country club. This is the way to build a team in the modern day NHL.

They will do what the Lightning did with Kucherov in 2021 and keep him in bubble wrap until the playoffs.

Unfortunately for the Flyers they won't be in the playoffs but he would be healthy going into 2023 and 2 years removed from his last injury.

Either Fletcher is entirely responsible, or the old guard is very much still influencing the overall direction. Bill is putting this all on Fletcher/Flahr I don’t know if I agree with that.
