A few too many long winded Drance questions
Could new Pettersson be our next Ohlund? Solid defense, a little offense here and thereā¦
Too early to tell I guess. Hopefully not the next Frankie COrrado. |

He seemed pretty high on the 3rd rounder and yes Drance is long-winded. |

I would add LA, but think they would be more interested in a top 4 LHD |

Hindsight but yes, it wouldn't have made the teams mess as bad.

Debrincat - Miller - Podz line would have been siiicpick given up for OEL/Garlandckkkkk - canucksfan1944
Or, if we didn't go all in, so Pouty could get his centreman, the team would have had a top12 pick and the 1st rounder given up for OEL/Garland, which also would have been higher than 9th.
The team would look a lot different than it does now, with say Lundell, who went 12th in 2020 and MacTavish or Edvinsson |

None of that would matter. You let them talk and if something works out you get a good deal back. If talks arenāt good then they walk away. Which they did anyway. There is no down side at all to letting them talk. - TurdFergeson
I only gave Neem examples of what PA may be thinking. Not how I feel. You are probably right. PA is mishandling the situation if he won't let teams talk with Miller's agent. It's also an eye opener to the state of negotiations. |

I realize Debricat is a good goal scorer, but Chicago management said they badly wanted Korchinsky and want to build from there.
They didn't believe he would be around for them to take later and wanted a franchise type defenseman.
Same with the Kirby Dach move, they liked the players that were available at the time and pulled the trigger.
So, they chose a plan and went with it - Reubenkincade
Both terrible moves, seems if they really wanted to rebuild they would have got some 2023 picks and not rushed this draft and traded their youngest skill guys. Bit ass backwards if you ask me. |

They liked Korchinski and Nazar, also got RHD Rinzel in the 1st plus some other not bad picks.
They also have 2 longtime Hawks in the final year of NMC. What better way to convince them to waive, than have no talent to play with.
Both will get them a 1st in 23, and in Kanes case, even more. |
