Holy (frank) are you delusional! I reposted my conversation showing that regardless of us using a word differently, I stayed on track and what I think is clearly stated beginning to end.
I've said it dozens of times and prove it once again. "You can't help yourself"... that would require a 3 digit IQ.

Once by my count, but I know you're still working on the counting thing, so that's OK. Keep trying though, you'll find concepts like language and it's importance in expressing clear concise thoughts will follow. Especially if you are willing to learn from your mistakes.
We'll get back to contract law and negotiation tactics once you've shown a certain grasp.....or maybe we won't.
Ya, I doubt any North American team would sign him, he was and still is grossly overvalued by this fanbase.
I hear Sweden is the country to go to if you want to become a good hockey player. - Reubenkincade
I think he’ll have a NHL of he wants one, Det, Was, TB and Fla all make sense.

Who gives a (frank) about Law. You don't see anyone interested in your law discussion do you? Everyone else stayed on topic.
Here's the
counting thing
for you. At least 8 people other than you got into the conversation and none of them are hung up on a word and going off the rails in another direction.
I don't think ot will stink, it just won't be the 4 super assets that many seem to think will be the return.
If anyone thinks a top 10 pick a good young player, preferably a RHD and a top prospect, will be the return, then they are more than delusional, but also idiotic. - Reubenkincade

Lol. You should just stop. It’s really embarrassing.

I agree with your stance.
Good luck with the next 10 pages.

You'd think you'd be supportive of them moving Miller by now rather than later. Current strategy is supporting Lordy's feeling that Miller would be here for the season opener. Best offers have passed more than likely.

Got to imagine there is a big gap in return from last TDL to next TDL.... just saying. Two playoffs and a season and a 1/4 vs 1 playoffs and a 1/4 season. - boonerbuck
Maybe for some teams, for others the offer might increase if they're tight for cap.
Or, his play suffers a little and his extension cost less as a result.
In some ways allowing him to negotiate his next deal with interested teams does hand some control over to the player.

I don't think so.
Many here didn't want 2022 draft capital. Well now that the draft has passed that's much less possible unless one of the prospects is involved.
Free agency is days away and some teams aren't going to like how they look after it has passed, then teams won't like how they look by christmas, some by March.
There's a whole lot of time to trade him, unless the 2022 draft was your deadline which didn't make much sense unless you were banking on 2022 draft capital.

Christmas... March... well that's well after season start like I was saying in the post to marwood.. You are right about free agency... a team may not like how the market went and come calling. I still think you'll get less in return by then. Especially if they don't know if they can extend him until after the trade.

I thought last trade deadline was ideal. It's unfortunate the team was climbing the standings and knocking on the door.
They can still extend him or trade him. There will be suitors.

Please don’t say draft capital. Please. - CanuckDon
Whatever, I wanted Lafreniere straight up. I think the young player is the key, but draft capital is part of the package. You might have to take on a not great contract to increase the return, something that expires soon.

I hope so. It's a steep climb up to the level that the elite teams are on. - Load Management
It's so much steeper than it is from bottom 5 to qualifying. The only difference is that a goalie can carry you so much further. It helps if they aren't playing 65+ games in the regular season.
