Winnipeg got much better value from the Rangers for their free agent than what the Rangers were offering Van for their player under contract.

Not really but I'm betting he gets another shot. Rough injuries last year and the kid skates very well. Not sure where MNGT is on him.

Whatever, I wanted Lafreniere straight up. I think the young player is the key, but draft capital is part of the package. You might have to take on a not great contract to increase the return, something that expires soon.
