How do you figure? The Rangers paid for a soon to be free agent Andrew Copp, who in Wpg had 35 points in 56 games.
Morgan Barron · $0 (AHL/JR)
2022 1st round pick (NYR - #30 - Brad Lambert) - manvanfan[Conditional]*
2022 2nd round pick (STL - #55 - Elias Salomonsson) [Conditional]**
2023 5th round pick (NYR)
Rangers were offering a little bit more value for Miller who had a year and a half left and is twice the player.
Winnipeg got much better value from the Rangers for their free agent than what the Rangers were offering Van for their player under contract.
Talking about how big offers *were doesnt exactly indicate that they will *be better later and contradict what he said.
There's a lot of talk about being more opportunities once free agency starts but again, it's still going to be from a reduced list of suiters. I see their position weakening as time passes. Yes, a trade probably will still happen but think their best returns have passed.

The coach also likes the D which is shyte. - VanHockeyGuy
Comments to the media that your players see and hear are not likely the same as comments made in private when it's safer to be honest. Keep that in mind...

The coach also said, while being interviewed, just before the WWE experience, that he thinks the management would ask his opinion, if a move were to transpire. He almost looked unsure of himself. |

lol how bout we 'compete' first. Our record under Boudreau speaks for itself just need a few more tweaks for now. 4LC and the RHD are the priority. Nothing else. - LordHumungous
You are fine with Di ckenson as 3LC? |

Good day!
New blog is up. And with the deadline for qualifying offers on Monday, it's time to look at Mikey DiPietro's situation, the goaltending roster at development camp, and the Canucks' three RFAs with arbitration rights...

I hope they don't get John Marino, I just have bad vibes about him.

I have watched him enough, over the past couple seasons, to know that he is highly overrated by posters on here. |

Not really but I'm betting he gets another shot. Rough injuries last year and the kid skates very well. Not sure where MNGT is on him. |

Whatever, I wanted Lafreniere straight up. I think the young player is the key, but draft capital is part of the package. You might have to take on a not great contract to increase the return, something that expires soon. - golfingsince

I'm sure lots are on the table. Boudreau has made it clear what he needs and that will also include Boeser and Horvat lol.
Garland, Hogs, Myers, Pearson, and a few others can go.
Although I would prefer to keep Garland. - LordHumungous
Keep boeser, Miller, horvat, petey, the 2 Russians the rest of the forwards cheap options and ELC’s. |
