IDGAF either way if he stays or goes. He's one guy, I would be more concerned with the other snowflakes in the room. Lets see if they address the holes in the roster this summer. - VanHockeyGuy
If the climate was there for the Miller deal sure...go and get it. But it's a 1st, prospect 'or' roster player plus a RH Dman. If the offer wasn't there at TDL last season it won't be there now. Needs to fill are the 3LC and 4LC plus add a right hand shot on D. Pretty basic concept. lol
Plus we need to get way tougher and not sure if this current MNGT group will address that. |

Gonna be yuge!!!

If he's here, I expect a 50 point season from him and we maybe get a 3rd at the TDL for him |

I expect it, he hit his high watermark to drive up his asking price at UFA, he's going to coast this year to avoid getting injured and lowering it. Which means less points, less willingness to play the way he did this year, and more whining and screaming at people for his mistakes. If they don't dump him by July 13th then we're screwed. |

Elliotte on Canucks and Isles:
One thing that I think is true is that Canucks aren't letting anybody talk to Miller about an extension. Was that what happened here? I still think we're gathering that and that's kinda why there's a little of a stalemate. - VanHockeyGuy
This would be terrible if true. It would be a issue getting top value for him if teams couldn't get any idea pre trade if he'd resign with them before UFA arrives. It also indicates that discussions came to a situation like Miller's camp indicating a contract that would scare suiters away or possibly indicating waiting for late season for further discussions. Any which way, it would have a negative impact on a potential trade if true.

Ya not the way it works, guys play lights out their contract year, not coast to be offered less, it seems you are very disgruntled and making up bs to drive your agenda.
If Miller is here at seasons start not a big deal, we are not screwed by any means, team will go on a tear and finish top ten league wise. |

Thanks, I didn’t want to look it up again. But I think there’s a mistake.
“ For players who are on expiring contracts that were signed after July 10, 2020:
The Qualifying Offer is limited to 120% of their previous contracts annual average (AAV)
Reference: 2020 NHL CBA extension Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)”
I think the underlined should say before, as this is when it changed, and that would make sense in the case of Barzal. |

Some guys think Miller is a glue guy, some don’t. Some guys think Hughes is a dynamic new age D-man, some think he’s a tragedy on skates. Some guys think Myers is a top 4 NHL D, some don’t. It’s all perspective.
Both you and I want the Canucks to rebuild properly, though I think you want to tear it down to the studs while I think there’s a few rooms we can work with. It’s the same with Makita, he’s just more optimistic than you or I, which probably means he’s generally a happier dude… |

I think he’s done with that, for the most part. When he’s telling someone to shut up about something it’s because he’s a compassionate human with morals, not because he’s a HB ref.

Yes, I diagnosed the problem with a multimeter, removed the part that was broken (heating coil), ordered a new one from Amazon, replaced it. YouTube helped a lot, but it was actually pretty easy and saved us about $300. |

I'm just of the opinion that Miller is going to majorly disappoint this year if we keep him. I want him gone by UFA so that he'll be someone else's problem and we can move on without him. He's not a core piece and our D NEEDS improvement or we're treading water at best or dipping downwards next season. |
