I don't know what that means

I don't like football

I wasn't alive in 70's or most of the 80's

I don't get it.

I mean I think you're trying to be racist somehow (the constant Taco Shell question after mentioning I have a wife who is Mexican) but I can't be sure if it's that or you're just dumb as hell. Help me out.

What’s the feeling here? Do the Flyers get Gaudreau? If not, where are we seeing them go? Clearly, they refuse to go into sell mode.

Why Ed Snider? That’s easy. It is for people who can’t afford to play ice hockey. What else would it be?
- furio16

And you never said anything you didn’t regret in life right? Privilege has nothing to do with it. Parental commitment does. You can buy used equipment to play.

How is that different from a non athlete child growing up and going to school? Do you have any specific facts that you can support on Matthews path to the NHL? Or is this another assumption and generalization?

It seems to me that DeAngelo was given an opportunity with Carolina and made the most of it. By all reports he treated others well there.

Kinda like how you assume Clarke is pulling the strings behind the scenes? 😂

Nobody is denying anything. Privilege exists in all walks of life. What's being said that you don't get is that not every NHL player grew up privileged. Again your not debating in good faith.

I think I've reached the end and my objective has been obtained.

Wouldn't the owners of Del Friscos find it nice for you to say "It is a privilege to eat here. Thank you." You don't have to say that of course, but thinking that, and switching your perspective to "wow isn't it nice to be able to eat at a restaurant tonight", might make you less miserable.

I mean, that is if you are truly recognizing your own privilege. Otherwise, everything is just there for you because you are entitled to it because you are YOU, social mores and common decency be damned.

Show me again where I said EVERY player who ever played this game professionally is a privileged person. And how that clouds my judgement of them.

I said the opposite actually. More than once here. You aren't comprehending it.

I'd give you one bro, no doubt.

Tony D has had more than two chances. That's the point.
