I know they have nmc - why wouldn't they have wrapped that up first? They should have met with them well before the draft.

I get that, but they missed an opportunity to get picks a year earlier and thus maybe speed it up a bit. They also seemed to have botched the Debrincat trade - they got a fraction of the asking price. I would be worried if I were a fan.
