Nice write up Hank, Adams and co. Are doing well with what they have. Detroit will surpass Buffalo this year in terms of development, wins and general success….why?

NHL talent will not want to come to Buffalo until the players make an 05/06 type run again and then management/ownership show respect and commitment to the team/game (which I believe Adams will do, but will Terry two times?). Management crying on camera because he isn’t micromanaged is a testament to the Pegula reign.

Players/agents respect Yzerman and know he is in control. I believe Adams doesn’t have full control of this organization which the rest of the league knows. If this continues than draft and develop is the only option - making this team 2/3 years away from even competing.

It's not a difficult endeavor if you have access to all the historical contractual data like they do, as it's assessing and comparing each player to other's based on production, position, where they are in their career (RFA, UFA) and percent of the salary cap.

At the very least PK is a former superstar with a star's personality. If he comes to Buffalo he'll take 90% of the media that Dahlin and Tuch have to do. Let them carry the team on ice, and let PK give 10 minute interviews after every game. Ryan Miller used to carry all the media after black tuesday, and it helped guys like Roy and Venek.

I mean, this isn't news. Anyone surprised this? We all said it after every game almost. The one I remember in particular was the 6 - 2 (i think) loss to St. Louis where we dominated 85% of the game. Everyone with eyes knew we were a dumpster fire in net.

I give Craid Anderson credit. I believe to this day I'm the only person on WGR to call his season trash last year. Shows you how useful being a great guy is. Risto got himself another contract basically because he's an awesome teammate, and all we ever really hear about CA is this nonsense about him giving the team a chance to win.
