Of course they don't ask him about DeBrincat directly, but it seems pretty clear we weren't interested. And, all this Kane talk seems nonsensical if Adams is an indicator.

Right, so we were getting up to league average in that sense. We were winning games with mediocre goaltending. Hell, we won games with a guy slightly younger than me. No shooting gallery. We weren't running out scrubs on D.

I asked that % question, and he said 90%. So, I don't really get it and it doesn't line up what Adams talks about, so whatever. Take it as you will.

I think the vast majority of the guys out there (not Kuemper, Campbell) don't have the luxury of asking for term. At some point the music stops and there are only so many starting jobs.

That said, I still think that the addition will be via trade (especially for a guy that doesn't have a NMC). Again, I am not terribly concerned about how because I think we could throw all of these names in a hat as they are all similar (e.g. lottery tickets). I still think UPL is going to be the guy that takes charge.

I could absolutely see this trade happening, just as the Bill's season/ training camp for the Sabres starts.

Pk88 plays his contract out or we traylor hall his ass at the deadline. Probably get back at least 1/2 the assets.

My point orginally was : maybe our d corp is part of why guys (murray and gubson) said no. They may also like other opportunities better. Like staying in California or getting a better destination.

The college kids as well.

Someone keeps posting about the organization and the city sucking.. many other factors than residual"stank"

these hurdles will take time and winning to overcome those issues IMO

Yeah, that is what I got out of that convo with Adams.

My thinking is on pilut is that his KHL team is going to say they are releasing him or canceling his contract.

Then they might wait 6,8,10 months to actually do it. (Exaggerating the time line)

Terry’s gonna fanboy, it’s been mentioned nemours times on Terrys man crush. He will force the swing. I hope they don’t give up too much. Especially if no extension is in place and it’s a Hall like, TDL send em if the Sabres are out of contention.

Don't remember anyone posting about the City, but the Organization definitely has that Stank smell to it.
