If you're getting JVR and say Florida's 1st round in 2024 you do it

You'll end up flipping him at the deadline for at least a 2nd and a prospect to a contender.

Taking on JVR could net you a 1st, 2nd and a prospect

or

JVR and Provorov perhaps? Too bad he is a LHD and not a RHD.

at the TDL Minn paid a cond 1st for MAF (7mil) with 50% retained which dropped to a 2nd unless Minn made it to the conf final

If the Sabres could pull close to that it gives them draft capital to move back into the 1st round maybe twice bc of the 3 2nds they already have

Both Savoie and Kulich tg are worth more than Debrincat. There's more to hockey than scoring 40 with Kane as your set up man

The Ladd comparable is ok but not great. He's a much worse player. I wouldn't want to use MAF either. I think you could get somewhat close with the Arizona Vancouver mega poop deal last summer. They wrangled up a first.
