Jonathan Dahlen, Olli Juolevi, Adam Gaudette. These guys were supposed to help VAN become a competitive team. Thrown is the scrap bin.

I'd like to see them bring back Zack MacEwen to protect the b*tches.

Fun Fact: In his 15 year NHL career David Perron has played for 5 different teams, he's been traded 3 times, and he's been selected in 1 expansion draft.
But despite all that, he's only ever signed a contract with the St. Louis Blues.
5 contracts signed, all with the #stlblues

I wonder what the draft picks were. I mean he has won 2 cups, he's leaving Ottawa.

most canucks "depth" scrubs that leaves end up out of the leagur on playing the same role on other poop teams. coincidence?

team's depth is garbage and all the fans who kept talking about too much depth and worrying about who would win the 13th forward spot or 7th dman spot every year heading into camp is hilarious to look back on

We'll look back and laugh at guys like highmore too

Highmore, Lammikko are both hot garbage, good riddance. Based on JR's recent comments they're struggling to shed cap space and add "sandpaper" to the team. These guys have only been on the job 6 months and It's not going to be easy to fix 8 years of poor decisions. The next 2 months will tell us more about this new group.

a 2023 third-round draft pick and a 2024 seventh-round pick in exchange for future considerations

Is this one of those future considerations that never materialise or ??

They've said a lot of things so far, JR especially is great with media PR, he says exactly what the media/fans want to hear.

I'd rather JR make no moves in lieu of stupid ones.

Either that or it's the result of a past future consideration?

The analytic champ has done a nice job with the Leafs. Wonder how the trading of 1st round picks, to get rid of contracts, is put onto a spreadsheet, pie chart or the cute coloured graphs.

Bad goalie after bad goalie and Tavares, gotta love the shitshow in Toronto.

Pull JTM off the market.

Seravalli mentions his understanding is Kadri is at the top of the Rangers priority list.

I wouldn't just pull him off the market. Just let it play out? Maybe after he sees some of the deals other players are getting he lowers his ask? I mean to me he's on the market at all times like many other players are.

There's a few names I'd take a chance on that weren't qualified. Unfortunately most will sign a deal tomorrow and not go anywhere. Nothing real special of course.
