I wouldn't just pull him off the market. Just let it play out? Maybe after he sees some of the deals other players are getting he lowers his ask? I mean to me he's on the market at all times like many other players are.
- golfingsince

Why would he lower his ask, HE'S A 💯 POINT PLAYER, after all. They get minimum 10.5 a year over 8 years in like TML and NYR, he's going to get it SOMEWHERE next July, he's not going to lower it THIS far out from UFA.

Fun Fact: In his 15 year NHL career David Perron has played for 5 different teams, he's been traded 3 times, and he's been selected in 1 expansion draft.
But despite all that, he's only ever signed a contract with the St. Louis Blues.
5 contracts signed, all with the #stlblues

Hearing David Perron plans to go to market on Wednesday.

Lines of communication remain open with #stlblues, and talks have been cordial, but I’m told STL doesn’t have the cap space to make a proper offer at this time.
Last one might have been his last with STL.

I'd take him on a cheap'ish contract for a year or two.

Pull JTM off the market.

Seravalli mentions his understanding is Kadri is at the top of the Rangers priority list.

The analytic champ has done a nice job with the Leafs. Wonder how the trading of 1st round picks, to get rid of contracts, is put onto a spreadsheet, pie chart or the cute coloured graphs.

Bad goalie after bad goalie and Tavares, gotta love the shitshow in Toronto.

- Reubenkincade

From the beginning of this generation of the Leafs it was backwards. Trade a 1st and 2nd for Andersen instead of just signing a goalie and using the picks to draft a solid one for the future instead. Imagine where they'd be if they drafted themselves a Demko? Set....

“I’ve put on some muscle, I’ve been talking a lot with my physical coach at Linköping, and he is great. When I got there, I was really skinny. Now I’ve got some tips on what and when to eat, stuff like that.”

-Jonathan Myrenberg on gaining 10-20 pounds over the last two years

Somebody get this coach at Linkoping to get a hold of Petey.

There's exactly 10 players in the league with a 10.5 or more cap hit. You need to relax.

Nuchushkin's 8 year deal at 6.125 AAV

Our projections have him coming in at $6.2 million AAV at this term, but from earlier reports, it sounds like the AAV might be a good deal less.

Horvat's next deal is to be somewhere around this one.

Shannon says he's not any less confident now than he was last week about a Miller trade.

"I just think that they're taking their time to do it right for this hockey club."

Shannon mentions based on what he heard talking to people the Islanders weren't able to talk to Miller about an extension.

Hearing Rickard Rakell and #pens have agreed to terms on an extension in the neighborhood of 5 years x $5 million.

That takes another talented winger off the market.

Takes him to 33 years old and has hit 50 plus points twice in his career but not in 4 years.

A 1 season wonder, like Nichuskin has his 1st 20 goal season, gets paid 6.125, 5 time 20 goal sscorer, who has been a consistent and improving player every year, is getting paid the same as the one-hit wonder.
Fuck are Canucks fans idiots and delusional.

Malkin hasn't played a full 82 game season since he was 22. Averages ~60 games a season. Very curious where the 35 yo ends up and what he gets!
