Do you guys think mtl could do worse than Chicago next season? That team should be bad as (frank). - deadpoulet
Impossible, Chicago is redefining the tanking expression right now they're getting rid of everyone who could help them that doesn't have a ntc it's insane...it's like they are trying to make Kane and Toews want to move for not being part of that crap show...but finishing last doesnt always mean 1st pick...time will tell

There’s a difference between being involved and interfering. I feel like he’s enjoying the new team he’s put in place and wanted to see it operate first hand. As for his meeting with Slafkovsky, perhaps the team told him this kid had a great personality and he wanted to see for himself, it doesnt mean he wanted to ok the decision. - Karine Hains
I do think that having Gorton has pushed back Molson a bit away from the team, letting HuGO and the team do their jobs, and perhaps where he is now just dealing mostly with Gorton.

We might not win many games this year but it's already interesting to watch HuGo do their thing to rebuild this team. From a clueless fan's perspective, they seem to have a clear vision of where they're going.
Still a lot of work to do but they're inspiring confidence in me so far. - Garfield512
Yeah, I have not been this excited about a Habs management team in a long while.
Gorton helped put together a solid management team, and I expect more to come in the next few weeks.
The Habs were actually at their best when Pezzeta, Pitlick and the young guns were in the line-up instead of Hoffman and Drouin and Armia. I don't know if getting rid of those last players is called tanking...

Well, if not injured, you know Hoffman, Drouin and most likely, Armia will still be int he line-up.
Pezzeta is a whole lot of "Meh", and realistically should not be in the NHL on a good team. Still prefer him to those guys, just for entertainment value.
And Pitlick has not been tendered, mostly because of the concerns with Arbitration. Which is too bad, as he was much better than those from the moment he put on a Habs jersey. Doe snot mean he won't be back, just seems unlikely.
I've resigned myself that the Habs will play too much Hoffman and Drouin, so I am not expecting much.
