Yea I've been away a bit haha, and yes it was my fault lol. I built the framing for the deck but with wedding coming up in September saving funds on that so will probably finish next year.

So I like the Rust, Letang and Rakell deals. Now just gotta figure out what's going on with Geno. He could be getting some slack from his wife to play in Florida, lots of factors in play with this one, it's been crazy.

But regardless, they had to get POJ signed. He's beyond ready and I think he can be in the top 4 by year's end.

Unfortunately I can see Marino being moved. Obviously it should be Dumo/Pettersson but seems like Hextall wants to get some sort of value for them.

Trading Dumo for a 7th round pick in order to resign Malkin and even someone like Trochek would be a huge plus.

i dont think 3 is unfair for pettersson at all. hes not great, but hes not bad by any means. and hes still young. not that hes improving, but its not as though hes a threat to fall off a cliff in his mid 30s. you would hope they can move him without taking anything back but its always tough to find someone with that kind of space.

i would love them to move dumo, but i question whether they would even want to.

moving marino should definitely not be the type of move just to clear cap with no follow up plan to put into place. so naturally they'll probably do that route

They have to move one of those LD, it's stupid to have a 4mil dman on the third pair. And yea the Marino rumors are kinda dumb. Are they thinking Matheson plays RD if they move Marino? Marino for Petry doesn't work unless you are still trading a LD because we'd be taking on more cap unless Montreal was retaining.

Also you have to explore a better LW if Geno isn't coming back IMO. And that would come in the form of moving a LD or Zucker.

Giroux had a nice thing going on the ice with Guentzel in the ASG. I’d love to play both with Sid.
