Most people have Trocheck almost certainly signing with the Rangers, which would take them out of the race for Kadri

Meh. I don’t think Romanov is as much of a sure thing as some. Potential is there to be but it’s not a lock imo. Romanov alone does not make us a MUCH better team. If it were that easy do nothing and hold off till the TDL

A number of teams have inquired about Patrick Kane in recent days, but they've been told a trade is unlikely at this time.

Kane and #Blackhawks have been in continuous dialogue. He'd like to see how season goes, and it would be an in-season move - if at all.

I actually really liked the Romanov trade. Its not going to win the cup, but its def a much needed addition to fill out the top 4. Any isles team in the past that had success had a legit top 4. Getting rid of Chara and adding Romanov is a step in the right direction for this season.
