He’s done some good things and bad things like any GM. Yeah trotz was his best achievement but then he fired him. I wasn’t as shocked as everyone else I think trotz’s message stopped getting across to the team. Maybe that would’ve changed maybe not. With that said the thought that Lameriello is sitting on his hands(not saying that to anyone directly)is crazy. You can bet your arse he’s trying to do something but I’m not sure if he’ll get it done? Hopefully he does and it’s a good move that doesn’t kill us long term wise.

I know St Louis wants Tkachuk but will need to shed some salary to get him signed. I would love to get Tkachuk but that to me is a pipe dream. I think the best we can hope for is Tarasenko. He said he would play for us and he wants out. Let’s see how desperate St. Louis gets to dump salary and how much cheaper we can get tarasenko for now. We’ll have to find a way to move some salary to another team because St Louis isn’t taking it on it would defeat the purpose. This sounds like the most likely positive thing to come out of the offseason if anything happens.

He’s going to have a hard time moving Bailey out. The most likely player that I imagine a team would be more inclined to want would be Beau.

I’ll also add when two sides want to make something happen in any league it generally finds a way to happen. By all accounts Tkachuk wants to go there and St Louis of course wants him. Hopefully we can get involved with this and come out of it with a good player.
