Their GM was able to make cap room and move him to Seattle. It is sad how management no matter who it has been the last 30 plus years cannot get it done. What is the excuse now???? New Building...Nope...Practice Facility...Nope...Current Team....Nope....
WHY IS IT SOOO GOD DAMN HARD TO GET THE RIGHT PLAYERS TO COME HERE??? - Nfdbulldawg
In fairness to Lou he moved out a pretty bad contract last year in Ladd. You can't expect him to be able to do that year after year imo. Also teams are probably playing hard ball knowing he needs to move out money to make a big deal and are asking for a crazy return for taking on a Bailey or whoever. |

So, full deal is Tkachuk (signed for 8x$9.5) for Huberdeau, Weegar, Cole Schwindt and a first |

With that move, a substantial move for the Isles seems even less likely now.

Are we all still keeping the faith???? Garbage. The whole damn thing. Just shop who we have and sell off at the deadline. That’s the best option, unfortunately |

Still have a shot at tarasenko but this destroys my hope of a St Louis Tkachuk deal diminishing his value a little. Narrows the field of course pretty much to Kadri and him unless there’s something out of left field. |

Narrows it to those, and, of course, to Lou doing absolutely nothing and saying, "We really like our roster...." |

All rumors still saying LOU is chasing J T Miller? Can LOU pull off a ZITO trade yet?
Stay tuned

The Tkachuk to STL scenario was the best option for Taresenko to get dealt. I think they hold to the deadline now |

I expect the later, and can't blame him. They missed on Gaudreau and couldn't make the Miller deal work. If Tarasenko can't happen, I say you hope that last season was an abomination, play some hockey and go from there. Taresenko will be around by the deadline. |

Wonder if we could get Hubs for some picks if Flames are in full rebuild? |

If Flames want to deal it would be worth going after LINDHOLM and unload a few players

I don’t think the numbers are as high for the players as many thought this year. If the years and $ are too much I agree with you Lou will walk away. Miller certainly is another option but again the money and years have to make sense. I don’t see Lou over paying.
Lou might just see what the team has this year and if they are in the mix by the TD he can add. |
