He only hit 70 or more once, everything else was sub-60. Not saying the deal is trash, he's a good player, but you'd think for giving him 7 years they'd have paid a little less

The highly sought-after guys will definitely make their money. But the middle-of-the-road guys are expected to maybe not get as much as they'd hoped, which seems to be the case in the pandemic flat-cap world for now.
