I think those days are in the past. The isles have credible ownership, a new facility, a cup winning GM, etc etc etc. I dont think its far fetched for the isles to be the landing spot for Tavares' replacement. They had 10 million on the table for a guy that couldn't skate, i cant see why they wouldn't pay that for Gudreau
