I'm scared the only difference between JR regime and JB regime is that we're not going into free agency locked into one player ala Eriksson, Tyler Myers.

While that is an improvement itself, I don't see any boldness yet. Sure patience, but if nothing significant materializes today (draft already over) it feels like we're getting left in the dust by other teams making bold moves. I don't even care if we lose a trade, at least take a few swings.

It just feels like we're destined to meddle in the middle / lower middle again. Maybe trade JTM at trade deadline, which best case finally signals our rebuild. Again that would be an improvement over JB to letting him walk, but doesn't feel bold enough to me. I don't think you can say making moves is hard ... other teams are doing it.

If he sucks, bury him in Abbotsford. He also hits more than lammiko and Highmore combined and played 2nd pairing PK in Boston last year. Hard to see the negative in this.

Everyone better be prepared for a 2nd rounder and maybe a project when JTM deal finally happens.

Remember, Miller can still drive down his value on his own and not have as good a year ... which is very realistic considering his trend and last year being an outlier.
