He played mainly 4th line the 1st 2 years - so that makes sense. Hopefully his trajectory continues going up. Don't like the AAV but I like his speed, PK ability and fact he's a buddy for Kuz & Pods

I actually like the player, we desperately need more speed and an improvement to the PK. I just find the term and AAV odd, it seems like he will get in the way of Hog and Podz moving up the lineup a year or 2 down the line.

I honestly don't understand these heat maps, but the analytics community seems to think the the mikheyev signing is a good one for value. With the canucks investing more into analytics this year, I wonder if we more of these types of signings.

Pretty bang on but missing he’s very good D wise & pressure. Right linemates can make him better which he didn’t get in Hogtown.

I'd give the signing about 75% of value unless he improves a tiny bit and shows some better consistency.
