I'd be interested more in a guy who's at least a threat to score once in awhile. It was nice having a 4th line that chipped in this year when High/Lam/Mot were together
I know a few of us wanted Aube-Kubel when he got waived and the Canucks passed on him |

for sure, but I think most good teams dont regularly play forwards who score 2 goals per season - Nucker101
Agree, but the team needs a balance of skills/abilities. The goal moving forward is to improve each of those. But you have to start somewhere. |

I bet they’d sell more beer if they dropped the prices from Green Lantern ridiculous to Harry Potter ridiculous.
Also, did you know Dumbledore was gay? Crazy. How many righties are now banning the films from their kids. |

To me this team lacks forechecking ability, so speed and tenacity is needed first and foremost. Skill is wasted if you can't take the puck away form the opponent.
Watching teams like Tampa/Colorado play, they put a ton of pressure on teams when they try to move the puck out of their own zone. Vegas was also great at that the year they made the SCF |

Hasn't that been thrown into doubt ever since JK Rowling outed herself as a transphobe? |

Having a bunch of 4th liners doesn't win hockey games. I don't know a lot of 4th liners with speed and tenacity that are selke candidates or hart trophy. |

Under Boudreau, the Canucks posted a record of 32-15-10, a 106-point pace over a full 82-game season. They remained in the playoff hunt until the final week of the regular season, ultimately finishing five points out of a wild-card playoff spot.

I don't think where the nucks are at can be hinged on record after boudreau. I like the guy as much or more than the rest, but winning when there is no pressure (until maybe the end), opponents taking you lightly and the boost that traditionally follows with a new coach should all be considered in those inflated numbers. If we win at that pace next year, I'd gladly and hopefully eat my words.
Plus Demko ... we were maybe a .500 team without him. |

Again, they played so bad at the start, they got a coach fired (even if that coach was an idiot) and had to play that well and STILL only ended up where everyone expected them to before the season started. Until they get rid of the Benning chaff like Myers, OEL, Miller, Garland and Pearson, all they'll ever be is a bubble team that relies too much on goaltending and special teams. That's not a recipe for long-term success. |

I dunno, but in the most recent film he states openly that he was “in love” with the antagonist when he was younger. |
