Vancouver Canucks feel they’ve improved up front, but recognize they have to upgrade their blue line. They intend to that via trade and will need time to develop possibilities. |

He's 34 now and going to a significantly worse team. |

Curtis Lazar led Bruins in hits last season. #Canucks wanted a little more sandpaper. Needed to alter composition of their fourth line. Fourth line was disruptive last season, but not physical
Dakota Joshua is a player we liked when STL and VAN shared the AHL roster in Utica during COVID. Ryan Johnson and Trent Cull know him well and would have had influence on the signing. I like his upside

I am glad cap space is very limited now. - manvanfan
I'm guessing Marino...

The Canucks want to improve their defense. The Penguins have at least one defenseman to give. Jim Rutherford and Patrik Allvin are quite familiar with Pittsburgh's personnel. Seems like there's the potential for a deal in there somewhere. |

Van doesn't have a lot of play drivers either. - manvanfan
I’m fine with him & a change could let him blossom. His speed is elite. |

The market place is tough atm. Patience is on our side as the offseason or season unfolds. Many will say as time goes by the get will be less but I don’t buy that & still can see him resigning. My guess is the Canucks have a few balls up in the air & are not done yet. |

Is Pod ready for an audition as the 3rd wheel on the top line? - Nighthawk
I think he should audition again at center between the other 2 Russians. |

There was a suggestion on another forum to look at a deal around Miller for Weegar and Bennett. We would need to clear poolman and Richardinson/Pearson for cap space. But would be interesting if possible. |

If Guddy is worth 4million than Poolman is a potential bargain for some team as desperate as Columbus. |
