Vancouver also signed Kalynuk. He regressed a bit last season but he still could be a solid NHL d-man. He might need some more time on Abbotsford, but there is potential there. Good signing.

A bottom six forward here, a depth defensemen there, AHL bound players but no real movement in the core that hasn't even made the playoffs without help from the lockdown. At least TML can say they make the playoffs every year and get close to breaking through, what's our excuse?

Maybe he doesn't show up every game, but few do. When he does, he sometimes single handedly brought them into the fight.

Lol. It's been less than a year and you're acting like it's been 6. You're the least patient fisherman I've ever encountered.

The more I look at it, I just can't see a way Garland isn't gone before the end of the summer. Kuzmenko and Mikheyev have both been promised top 6 minutes, there's now a huge logjam in the middle 6.

Perhaps waiting to take advantage of a team who loses out on their guy in Free Agency?
